This week I have been taking photos for our company marketing and web site. I took some photos of our personnel on wednesday and I will continue the session tomorrow. The picture above is a sample of the style of the photos I took.
The first photo sessions have been quite simple and easy but I feel, that I have got good experience of putting up my own studio lights, directing the models and planning the type of images we are going to use. Well, I have taken a couple courses on studio photography but this time I was responsible of doing it all on my own. Being responsible of arranging the whole photo shoot, was a lot more educational than just do what an instructor tell’s you to do. But still the courses were good and I could not have fulfilled the task I was given without having studied it first.
Tomorrows photo session is going to be (much) more challenging as I have been asked to take photos of subjects like “a business meeting”, “closing a deal”, “negotiating” etc.
So, I think this evening is for browsing photos and getting ideas that I can photograph tomorrow. What makes this more challenging is that I’m not a pro but neither are my models. Yet, fun and educating.
