Obscured Objects

I was visiting my friends in Jyväskylä, a smallish city in central Finland. We visited an art exhibition, which was in an old factory. The rugged, pale concrete ceiling an floor created a nice contrast to the paintings and sculptures. There was also photographs which I found very interesting. Especially images that were exposed to photographic paper with a pinhole camera.

Here are some pictures I took of the exhibition.

chinese characters as sculptures

These chinese charactes created an environmental artwork. The yellow sculpture is chinese character “river”. The two standing red characters are “mountain” and on the back wall there is “moon” and “forest” character below it.
